Annie Hall’s Dad, George Bush

The next mystery involves the character of “Dad Hall” appearing in two scenes — played by two different actors, only one of whom is mentioned in the credits. The actor credited with playing Dad Hall has the same last name as the Arizona governor who presided over the Phoenix Lights (Donald Symington vs Fife Symington).

Above is a photo of Annie Hall’s father at the dinner table. Below that, Annie Hall’s father a couple minutes later, in the living room. Below that, the two Dad Hall’s juxtaposed. I can’t help noticing a slight resemblance of the second Dad Hall to George H. W. Bush — the first of the two Bush presidents. Notice the second Dad Hall’s eyebrows. How would you describe them? I’d say they’re Bushy. Conspicuously so. From the right angle, you can see that one eyebrow is bushier than the other. Does that suggest the resemblance to Bush may be more than coincidence?

To assess whether the resemblance to George Bush is intentional, let’s see how many other films show a character who resembles Bush. So far I’ve counted four. Bottom, from left to right, they are: American Beauty, Casino, (Bush himself), Annie Hall, and Oliver Stone’s JFK Director’s Cut — Xtras Deleted Scenes.

In most of these, there’s a direct connection to Bush, as in the last one, from JFK Director’s Cut. This character is calling the Kennedy’s a “God-damned dynasty,” probably a reference to the Bush Dynasty and its possible intersection with the Kennedy Dynasty.

Regarding Annie Hall, it was filmed in 1976 — the year George H W Bush was CIA Director. So are Woody Allen and co-writer, Marshall Brickman, connected to intel? If not, how could they have “predictively programmed” the Phoenix lights? The similarities are in my view too great to be coincidence.
